After the Hainan Free Trade Port begin independent customs operations this year, the number of goods eligible for "zero tariffs" will be significantly expanded, said Cai Qiang, deputy director of the office of the Hainan Free Trade Port Working Committee and also a deputy to the 14th National People's Congress, on Saturday.
He added that a tax system tailored to the Hainan Free Trade Port is taking shape.
