Al Nassr were held by Al Shabab 2-2 at home on Friday after blowing a 2-1 lead, extending their winless streak to three games.

The visitors netted first despite obvious dominance of Al Nassr. Daniel Podence was clipped from behind by Nawaf Boushal inside the box in the 44th minute, earning his side a penalty kick. Abderrazak Hamdallah took the shot and scored it for the team to lead 1-0.

Nonetheless, Al Shabab's advantage didn't last long. A sloppy clear-out by their defense of Cristiano Ronaldo's free kick enabled Ayman Yahya to score the equalizer with a bullet effort in the second minute of stoppage time.

The hosts didn't stop there. Five minutes later, Sadio Mane assisted Ronaldo to beat Georgiy Bushchan from a tight angle for the 926th goal of his career. It was first cancelled as offside, but the referee changed his decision after checking with the video assistant referee (VAR). Al Nassr managed to begin the second half as the leading side.

However, the home team took a blow six minutes into the second half when Mohammed Al-Fatil was thrown out with a red card for bring down Podence. Having to play one man down, Al Nassr began to feel the pressure from the opponents' offense.

Mohammed Al Shwirekh nodded in a corner to tie the game 2-2 for Al Shabab in the 67th minute. Neither side netted again before the game ended. Al Nassr secured only one win out of their past six games in all competitions.
