Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi announced that China will convene a Global Leaders' Meeting on Gender Equality and Women's Empowerment in Beijing in the latter half of this year. Thirty years ago, Beijing bore witness to the determination of women worldwide to seek gender equality at the Fourth World Conference on Women.
