The Chinese animated blockbuster "Ne Zha 2" has grossed a total box office of 14.883 billion yuan (around $2.06 billion), including pre-sales and overseas earnings, surpassing "Avengers: Infinity War" to become the sixth highest-grossing film worldwide, according to data from online movie platforms.

"Ne Zha 2" expanded its screenings to Singapore and Malaysia this month, enjoying strong popularity in these Southeast Asian markets. The highest-grossing animated movie of all time is set to be officially released in Japan with Japanese subtitles on April 4, with advance screenings – featuring a Chinese dub along with both Chinese and English subtitles – available since March 14.
