China's Chen Yufei narrowly edged American Zhang Beiwen to secure her spot in the women's singles final at the Orleans Masters in Orleans, France, on Saturday.

Chen struggled with a number of unforced errors in the first game of the semifinal clash, ultimately losing it 21-15 despite a valiant effort to catch up in the latter stages. However, she quickly made adjustments in the following games, utilizing her signature skills in net play and aggressive tactics to dominate Zhang. Chen bounced back decisively, winning the next two games 21-13 and 21-12, thus advancing to the final.

She will face South Korean star An Se-young, who fought through a challenging three-game semifinal to overcome Gao Fangjie and secure her own spot in the final.

In men's doubles, the Chinese duo of Liang Weikeng and Wang Chang also advanced to the final by eliminating the Malaysian pair of Arif Abdul Latif and Ye Ruiqing. Displaying exceptional form, the Chinese team swept their opponents aside in just 26 minutes, winning 21-14 and 21-13. They will face the South Korean pair Kang Min-hyuk and Ki Dong-ju in the final.
