Iceland and China have long maintained strong cooperation in areas such as green transition, gender equality, and other global challenges. In an interview with CGTN, Maria Mjoll Jonsdottir, the director general of the Political Directorate of the Icelandic Ministry for Foreign Affairs, highlighted that the bilateral cooperation is an example of how different countries can work together in the international arena to address challenges that no one country can address alone.
