The Third Session of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) concluded in Beijing on March 10. During the week-long gathering, more than 2,000 members from all walks of life offered their insights and suggestions for the country's development. Among them was Yang Yuni, a member of the Hani ethnic group. While meeting the press at the CPPCC Members Corridor, she showed a special gift from her hometown some 3,000 kilometers away and shared her vision for rural development.
