Beate Trankmann, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) representative in China, shared the progress of the cooperation projects between the UNDP and China in a recent interview with CGTN. She said that the measures China has taken in recent years to promote gender equality and protect women's rights are moving in the right direction. The cooperation programs carried out by China and the UNDP to safeguard women's rights also promote the contribution of women's power to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
