A Canberra-based think tank – Australian Strategic Policy Institute – has reportedly halted its China-related research after the U.S. government froze its foreign aid budget. The institute, proclaiming independence, while having long been engaged in anti-China research, has been playing as a pawn for Washington to defame Beijing. But with the U.S. funding freeze, ASPI's head of China project is calling on other governments to fill the funding gap. As this absurd farce gains traction online, it only proves that: What's done in the dark will come to light.
