Infrared cameras in Yunnan's national nature reserves recently captured rare footage of Chinese goral mothers and their cubs foraging together. In a clip, an adult goral cautiously scans the area before continuing, followed closely by its hornless, fluffy-headed offspring. Another clip shows two different-sized gorals foraging in a forest. Chinese gorals inhabit forests from subtropical to temperate zones, feeding on grass, leaves and nuts. The strengthening of conservation efforts allows their population to grow.
