UN official: Gaza Strip supplies are running out fast

The critical progress made in the first six weeks of the first phase of the Israeli-Palestinian ceasefire agreement is being jeopardized by Israel's suspension of the entry of all goods into the Gaza Strip, which began on March 2, Stephane Dujarric, spokesman for the United Nations secretary-general, said on March 12. Throughout the Gaza Strip, it is becoming increasingly difficult for people to obtain adequate food, water, medical care and other necessities of life.
