Cristiano Ronaldo, Sadio Mane and new signing Jhon Duran were all on target for Al Nassr as they beat Al Kholood 3-1 at home to move to third place of the the Saudi Pro League on Friday night.
Ronaldo got the scoring started inside four minutes, netting his 19th league goal of the season after pouncing on a rebound from Duran's shot that hit the woodwork. The 40-year-old then showcased his playmaking skills, delivering a brilliant through ball that sets up Mane for the second in the 26th minute.
Duran added a spectacular strike from outside the box in the 41st minute, rounding off a dominant first-half performance. The Colombian forward just joined from Aston Villa in January and already has seven goals in just nine appearances.
Although Al Kholood managed to score a consolation goal through an own goal from Ali Lajami with 18 minutes left, Al-Nassr went on to secure their first win in three matches, keeping them 10 points behind league leaders Al Ittihad with nine games left.
