The U.S. launched airstrikes on multiple Yemeni cities between March 15 and 16, killing at least 31 people and injuring over 100, according to the Houthi-run health department.
U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed on social media that he ordered the strikes. Trump's national security adviser said the airstrikes targeted multiple Houthi leaders.
The attack came days after the Houthis announced they would resume strikes on Israeli vessels near Yemen in response to Israel's blockade on Gaza.
