Guangdong Southern Tigers fought back from 17 points down to beat Zhejiang Golden Bulls 118-111 on the road at the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) on Sunday, thanks to veteran Ren Junfei's team-high 21 points.

Zhejiang started well with Yu Jiahao putting them ahead by three. Yu then drilled another triple to extend their lead to seven, en route to his 15 points and 11 rebounds.

Xu Jie's long pass found Xu Xin, who broke in for a big dunk. Guangdong narrowed the gap to two in the second quarter. Ren set up Trey Burke for a triple, and Du Feng's men were one point in front before the break.

The 35-year-old Ren then drained a three and went on to score a team-high 21. Xu drove in and finished with a lay-up for Guangdong to enlarg the gap to 10.

Zhejiang's Gabe York knocked down three of his game-high 38 points. Burke then missed his shot, but Ren was there to tip in the rebound and Guangdong led by two. Xu found Ren for a jumper at the end of fourth and the Southern Tigers went on to win 118-111.

In other action, Sichuan Blue Whales beat Nanjing Monkey Kings 128-124, and Xinjiang Flying Tigers beat Guangzhou Loong Lions 116-80.
