Thousands of protesters in Sanaa took to the streets against recent U.S. airstrikes on Yemen.

After U.S.President Donald Trump launched a new campaign of intense airstrikes targeting Yemen's Houthi group, this weekend's strikes killed at least 53 people, including children, and wounded others. From November 2023 until January this year, the Houthis attacked more than 100 merchant vessels with missiles and drones, sinking two vessels and killing four sailors.
