The Chinese-made documentary, "The Sinking of the Lisbon Maru," has premiered in London. The film chronicles the fate of some 2,000 prisoners of war aboard a Japanese ship torpedoed during World War Two in the East China Sea. Chinese fishermen risked their lives to save over 300 of the prisoners. Fang Li, the film's director and producer told CGTN the rationale behind the film.
