On March 15, two teenagers went missing while exploring the Juewei Mountain in the suburbs of Taiyuan, capital of Shanxi Province. Soon after their parents' report, local police, firefighters and a civilian rescue team launched a search operation. The rescuers searched the mountains overnight and found the two boys in a ravine by noon. The teens were extinguishing the fire they had set for warmth the night before. Using ropes, the rescuers reached them and brought them to safety.
