China's high-level opening up has brought opportunities to Qatar, and the two countries should work together to boost cooperation in the future, according to attendees at an event named "China in Springtime: Sharing Opportunities with the World Global Dialogue" in Doha, capital of Qatar on Wednesday.
Delivering a video address during the event hosted by China Media Group (CMG), President of CMG Shen Haixiong said China's development is deeply intertwined with the world, just as global prosperity needs China.
In the face of global challenges, no single country can tackle them alone, said Shen, who is also deputy head of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee.
Instead of operating in isolation, countries should embrace openness and collaboration; rather than seeking "decoupling," it is better for them to pursue win-win cooperation, he added.

The mutual political trust between the two sides has deepened, practical cooperation has grown closer and cultural exchanges have become increasingly vibrant, bringing tangible benefits to the two peoples, he added.
