Hundreds of Mongolian khulan (wild asses) were spotted grazing peacefully on the spring grasslands of Sunite Right Bannerm, north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. These hardy, horse-sized animals migrate each year from Mongolia to north China to escape the winter cold.
