At the China Development Forum 2025, BMW Group Chairman Oliver Zipse reaffirmed the company's long-term confidence in China, calling it both a vital consumer market and a hub of innovation. "China isn't just our biggest market – it's where the future of global mobility is being built," he said. During an interview with CGTN's Wang Guan, Zipse praised the Two Sessions for sending a clear signal on growth and global engagement. He highlighted China's role in BMW's global supply chains, including EV battery partnerships with CATL and EVE. "With a still-low mobility rate across 1.4 billion people, this market has room to grow. And it's not just about sales – it's about developing technology here, for the world," he said.
