Chinese Commerce Minister Wang Wentao met Wendell P. Weeks, CEO of the American ceramics and glassmaking company Corning, for the second time this month. Wang praised their "fruitful exchanges," while Weeks highlighted revenue increase in 2024 and plans to expand investments. The Corning CEO is one of a number of foreign business leaders China's Commerce Minister has met in the past few days, many of whom are in Beijing for the two-day China Development Forum.
