Delegations from Russia and the United States have held their latest round of talks in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The discussions lasted nearly 12 hours. The Kremlin says Moscow and Washington agree on the need to move toward a settlement on the Ukraine conflict, but many aspects still need to be worked out. Professor Teng Jianqun, director of the Diplomacy Studies Center under Hunan Normal University, says it is a good beginning for reaching peaceful solutions between Russia and Ukraine.
