During a UN Security Council meeting on March 25, Fu Cong, China's permanent representative to the United Nations, reiterated the importance of respecting Syria's sovereignty, independence, unity, and territorial integrity. He condemned Israel's air strikes against Syria and called for an immediate withdrawal from Syrian territory.
