The Boao Forum for Asia is underway in southern China's Hainan Province. This year's forum has attracted many delegations from Europe. They expressed hope for deeper cooperation with Asia. CGTN's Zheng Chunying has more. 

Lush greenery and endless skies, everything is so familiar.

ZHENG CHUNYING CGTN Reporter "This is my third time in Boao Forum for Asia. And every year blows my mind with something new. This year I witnessed a growing presence of European delegations compared to the previous ones. so what are the reasons behind that?"

And that Optimism is shared by a report published by the forum on Tuesday. It says global reliance of foreign investment on Asian economies picked up despite some fluctuations, reaching around 60 percent in recent years. In the face of strong headwinds for economic globalization, Asia has achieved a greater success in deepening regional economic integration.
