Wildfires in South Korea have killed 24 people, officials said on Wednesday, warning that the toll could rise further, with more people injured and the blaze still not under control.
"Twenty-four people are confirmed dead in the wildfires so far," and 12 seriously injured, a ministry of interior and safety official told AFP, adding that these were "preliminary figures" and the toll could rise.
