China says the G7's statement is a vicious slander against China and a brutal interference in its internal affairs. The remarks were made on Thursday by Wu Qian, spokesperson for the Chinese Defense Ministry, in response to the G7 Foreign Ministers' Meeting's recent joint statement, expressing concerns over China's nuclear arsenal, maritime issues, and the Taiwan question. Wu said the G7 should stop preaching to others.
