We Talk: What should the youth be like to build a prosperous Asia?

Boao in south China's Hainan Province is once again capturing the world's attention. The Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) Annual Conference 2025 is being held there from March 25 to 28, with the theme "Asia in the Changing World: Towards a Shared Future."

In our We Talk Boao special series, international students from different Asian countries studying in China engage in cooperation among youth to explore new trends in Asian development from a global perspective.

This video features international students from Malaysia, Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan and Vietnam discussing successful cases of regional cooperation in Asia. They explore how young people can play a greater role in fostering this cooperation in the future.

Do Pham Ngoc Diem, a Vietnamese student at Tsinghua University, believes that China and Vietnam have established fruitful collaborations in trade, cultural exchanges, environmental management, tourism and more. Initiatives such as the establishment of Confucius Institutes in Vietnam and the hosting of Vietnamese cultural events in China have enhanced mutual understanding between the two nations. By engaging in intercultural exchanges and cooperation, young people can contribute to a more peaceful and beautiful world.
