A pair of century-old pear trees recently burst into bloom at the Zhihua Temple in Beijing, drawing crowds of visitors to admire their snow-white blossoms. Towering over 10 meters tall, the pear trees spread their canopies like giant umbrellas to cover much of the courtyard. With its blend of ancient pear trees and unique ancient architecture, the temple has become one of the most popular flower viewing destinations in the capital over the years.
