With rising temperatures, the Inner Mongolia section of the Yellow River has entered its ice break-up period. Massive ice floes are drifting into the Wanjiazhai Reservoir, located at the border between northern China's Shanxi Province and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The ice floes collide and merge with the flowing water, creating stunning yellow-and-white patterns across the river.
