On March 29, Muhammad Yunus, Bangladesh's interim chief adviser, delivered a speech at Peking University and was awarded an honorary doctorate in recognition of his achievements in socio-economic development and global cooperation. Yunus praised the institution as "my home," while both sides pledged to strengthen educational and cultural exchanges to commemorate the 50th anniversary of China-Bangladesh diplomatic ties and the Year of Bilateral Cultural Exchange.
