Central China's Wuhan is widely known for its blooming cherry blossoms. Every year, tourists travel to the city during the spring to catch a glimpse of the natural wonder. This year, a series of special products have been released that incorporate cherry blossoms into their design. Wang Jingya has the story.
It's currently cherry blossom season in Wuhan. To mark the occasion, the city has gone all out by releasing a host of products geared toward tourists. At the Wuhan East Lake Cherry Blossom Garden, shops selling cultural and creative products are attracting crowds, with tourists snapping up the special items.
LUO YANYI, Tourist from UK "We make the Yangtze River cruise for three days. We just arrived today and it's a surprise because we can see the cherry blossoms. I just bought a small umbrella and the lovely little bag for my granddaughter. These are related to the Cherry blossoms and they're pretty and this exactly what my little grandchild wants."
ZHANG JINMING, Tourist from Hong Kong "I'm brought here by my tourist group. But in fact the flowers and the park and the temple is all are very attractive. Well, I find this, I bought a fan and some souvenir is very attractive. Flowers all around, these are in pink color just fit the color of this park."
Some of the special products are so popular that they are now in short supply, or in some cases temporarily out-of-stock.

In recent years, a growing number of cultural and creative souvenirs have been released that blend Wuhan's local characteristics, ranging from pillows featuring the famous Yellow Crane Tower, to three-dimensional refrigerator magnets with lights. These creative cultural products are designed to show off Wuhan's unique local culture in a fun way.
