A moth orchid plantation in the suburbs of Datong City, north China's Shanxi Province, is filled with a rich floral fragrance. Orchids in vibrant colors have blossomed in unison, creating a breathtaking sea of flowers. The plantation has partnered with a Dutch breeding company and introduced more than 60 rare orchid varieties. As the peak sales season unfolds, it ships over 8,000 orchids a day. Since February, total sales have reached 42,000 plants, making the industry a new engine for the local economy.
