U.S. President Donald Trump has declared he will not dismiss any members of his administration following a security breach involving the Signal messaging app, which exposed plans for an air strike on the Houthis in Yemen.
Trump, in his interview with NBC News' Kristen Welker, dismissed the incident as an outcome of what he termed 'fake news' and defended his national security adviser Mike Waltz and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth.
The breach occurred when Waltz mistakenly included Jeffrey Goldberg, editor in chief of The Atlantic, in a group discussing the confidential military strategy.
