The Chengdu stop of the 2025 World Games Tour concluded on Sunday, serving as a key prelude for the 12th edition of the World Games, which will be held in Chengdu, southwest China's Sichuan Province, in August.
This program also served as one of the qualifiers for the World Games, offering coveted spots in three sports – diving, life-saving, and boules – which were featured during the three days of competition.
A total of 122 athletes from 28 countries and regions – including China, Italy, and Spain – competed for 30 gold medals in Chengdu. This year's World Games are scheduled to take place from August 7 to 17. The competitions will primarily consist of non-Olympic sports.
