00:45

A Chinese team located and rescued a woman from a collapsed hotel in Mandalay, Myanmar, on March 31 after more than five hours of intense effort.

The woman had been trapped for nearly 60 hours following a magnitude-7.9 earthquake that struck the country on March 28. She was in stable condition when rescued. She is the first survivor found by the Chinese rescue team, which arrived in the hard-hit city on March 30 afternoon.
