Myanmar's magnitude-7.9 earthquake last Friday left widespread devastation, with buildings across Mandalay reduced to rubble. The destruction has made rescue efforts nearly impossible. Local teams lack resources, but Chinese rescue teams and aid supplies are now on the ground, bringing much-needed relief and hope. “They have checked on our situation and needs, providing aid and support. We are truly grateful,” says a survivor.
