During the Tang Dynasty (618-907), people used their colorful skirts to form makeshift tents for picnics, creating the elegant "skirt tent banquet" event. Today, young people from the Greater Bay Area gather, dressed in traditional Hanfu, uniting in the name of springtime tradition.
