About 60 golden retrievers and their owners went hiking in the mountains of the Tiger Valley Natural Scenic Spot in Beijing's Changping District this weekend. After the hiking team reached the end, the 60 golden retrievers were divided into four teams and had a fun game. The competition included a dog relay race, squats with dogs, and following instructions. Dog owners said they enjoyed the exercise and socializing, and their dogs were excited to be out in nature. The growing pet-themed activities facilitate engagement among pet owners. According to the "China Pet Industry Research Report 2024" released by iResearch, the pet market in China reached 345.3 billion yuan ($48.23 billion) in 2024.
