The Chinese Ramunion Rescue Team's Epidemic Prevention and Disinfection Task Force has begun disinfection operations in Mandalay, Myanmar. The task force comprises of rescue team members and overseas Chinese volunteers in Myanmar.
As Myanmar enters its hottest season, the extreme temperatures pose significant challenges to both rescue and sanitation efforts. In addition to the scorching heat, many victims remain trapped in the rubble, making it crucial to conduct epidemic prevention work alongside ongoing rescue operations to prevent further health risks.
