The death toll from Myanmar's magnitude-7.9 earthquake has risen to 3,471 as of Saturday, with 214 people still missing, according to the state-run daily The Mirror.
The Chinese Embassy in Myanmar confirmed that, as of 11 a.m. on Friday, the powerful earthquake had resulted in the deaths of five Chinese citizens and injuries to 13 others.
