Thousands of years ago, the ancient Chinese people used bamboo slips to record their knowledge. Today, this legacy has become the inspiration for the China Pavilion at the upcoming Expo 2025 Osaka.
With the theme "Building a community of life for man and nature – a future society of green development," the pavilion resembles an unfurled Chinese calligraphy scroll, featuring bamboo slips engraved with lines of ancient Chinese poetry and passages from works of classical Chinese literature.
As one of the largest foreign self-built pavilions at Expo 2025, the China Pavilion also highlights the aesthetics of Chinese classical garden design, showcasing its ethos of harmony between man and nature.
Expo 2025 Osaka is scheduled to run from April 13 to October 13.
