Where Armenian folk tunes meet Chinese melodies, violinist Astrid Poghosyan, also known as Ma Xingxing, connects two civilizations with her strings, weaving the rhythms of Shanghai's Huangpu River into the echoes of Yerevan's ancient streets. Believing that music transcends borders, she has built a bridge between Armenia and China through her artistry. In recognition of her contributions to cultural exchange, Astrid was awarded the Shanghai Magnolia Memorial Award in 2023.
