China's General Administration of Customs on Friday suspended the import qualifications for products of six U.S. companies due to inspection and quarantine issues with their goods.
The customs authority cited the need to protect the health of Chinese consumers and ensure the safety of China's livestock industry for the decisions.
One U.S. company's sorghum imports, three U.S. companies' poultry meat and bone meal imports, and two U.S. companies' poultry meat imports will be suspended, it said.
