China on Friday announced that it has added 11 U.S. companies, including drone manufacturer Skydio, to the unreliable entity list.

In recent years, companies including Skydio and BRINC Drones have disregarded China's strong opposition and engaged in so-called military technology cooperation with the island of Taiwan, seriously undermining China's national sovereignty, security and development interests, a statement released by China's Ministry of Commerce noted.

Based on relevant laws, China has held these companies legally accountable for their unlawful actions, the ministry said.

The 11 U.S. firms are Skydio Inc., BRINC Drones, Inc., Red Six Solutions, SYNEXXUS, Inc., Firestorm Labs, Inc., Kratos Unmanned Aerial Systems, Inc., HavocAI, Neros Technologies, Domo Tactical Communications, Rapid Flight LLC and Insitu, Inc.

According to the statement, those companies are prohibited from engaging in import and export activities related to China and prohibited from making new investments within China.

The ministry noted that China has always exercised prudence in addressing issues related to the unreliable entity list, only targeting a very small number of foreign entities that harm China's national security.

"Honest and law-abiding foreign entities have nothing to worry about," it added.

The Chinese government continues to welcome companies from around the world to invest and operate in China and remains committed to providing a stable, fair and predictable business environment for law-abiding foreign enterprises operating in the country, said the ministry.
