"Nanyin" is a traditional form of folk music from China's Fujian Province and Taiwan, dating back to the Tang Dynasty (618-907). Eighty-year-old Zhuo Shengxiang, the first inheritor of national intangible cultural heritage from Taiwan, has spent decades bridging the Chinese mainland and Taiwan through teaching and promoting "Nanyin."
