Imagine volleyball – but with the signature kicks of football! That's uniball, a mixed-gender ball game invented in China.
Two teams, each featuring two females and two males, play against each other using not only volleyball tactics such as spiking and blocking, but also shooting techniques borrowed from football.
The hexagonal court is divided into two halves by a net similar to that used in volleyball, but with an opening in the middle which is called the "wind eye" that allows players to kick or head the ball through.
Remember, a new sport is the result of minds unbound by tradition, forging new paths in the realm of play.
