China's judicial authorities and relevant departments will handle cases involving suspected espionage activities by Filipino nationals in strict accordance with the law and based on factual evidence, while protecting the legitimate rights and interests of those involved, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian said on Monday.
Lin made the remarks during a regular press briefing in Beijing, responding to media inquiries about a recent case concerning Philippine nationals suspected of espionage in China.
