People from all walks of life – including politicians, local residents, and experts around the world – have voiced concerns over the U.S.'s latest round of tariff hikes.
Amid mounting global unease, U.S. President Donald Trump signed an executive order on April 2 imposing a 10 percent "minimum baseline tariff" on all imports, with higher rates for certain countries. The order took effect Saturday, making nearly all imports to the U.S. subject to the additional tariff unless otherwise specified.
