Tariffs have rarely had a positive impact, and the current US unilateral tariff policy is putting global companies and economic development in a difficult situation, said Mark Greeven, Dean of Asia at the International Institute for Management Development (IMD). He predicted that the business environment and growth will be hindered by these tariffs in the short term.
