The China-SCO conference on industrial cooperation for sustainable development kicked off in Tianjin on Thursday to further promote cooperation in fields like infrastructure, energy, mining and petrifaction among Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states.
Cooperation is particularly important given global economic uncertainty. As the rotating chair of SCO this year, China is hoping to boost cooperation among member states, and promote the building of a closer community with a shared future.
